Thanksgiving at Eidolon House 2014

This year Joseph and I shared an amaaaaaaazing Thanksgiving together!  We cooked a pretty great meal too!  We decided to forego the turkey this year, because we don't really like the flavor of turkey, so we cooked two little Cornish Game Hens!  We cooked the hens with a great spice rub and butter that we rubbed all over the hen and under the skin.  We also roasted the hens with carrots, broccoli, and diced red onion and garlic cloves!  Joseph baked the most delicious Parker House rolls, and we accompanied our meal with mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, and a coconut cream pie!  For an appetizer I baked stuffed artichokes!

After dinner we went for a drive in search of Christmas lights, and then we came home and played a mean game of Rummy.  Technically Joe won our card game, but I did too!  Our score was tight and came down to the last game; I scored 500 and Joe scored 540!

We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
