"Beans" Grey/Ash Wool

12.00

Our Angora Rabbits are compassionately cared for and groomed.  Their hutches are cleaned daily, and they have a monitored healthy diet to ensure beautiful wool growth.  Our Angoras have their own fenced play yard that they each get to run around in and forage for fresh greens almost daily (weather permitting).  When the rabbits are shedding (every 3 to 4 months), we brush and collect their wool every other day.  When they're not shedding, we groom them once a week.  This keeps their fur clean and free of mats.

Beans is a mix English/French/Giant Angora rabbit.  His wool is absolutely beautiful with a silky and lofty texture.  The fibers in each pack are a mix from 1.5" to 4.5" in length. Micron count is 8 - 15.

Our Angora wool is sold by the ounce.  One ounce can yield 100 yards of yarn, give or take, depending on the thickness of the yarn spun. The fiber is straight from the rabbit (raw); it hasn't been washed or carded (Angora doesn't need to be washed, and rarely requires carding to spin).
