This ecru Corriedale Cross comes from Uruguay, and has a micron count of 25-33.  Average staple length is 3" - 6".  Sold by the ounce. 

Profile:  Corriedale is a cross of Merino, Lincoln, and Leicester sheep, and was developed in New Zealand and Austrailia in the 1880's.  The breed was created to graze intermediate grasslands.  They were first imported by the United States Department of Agriculture to Laramie, Wyoming in 1914.
